Yes you still need ’em. Not as many prints as in days gone past but you still need a handful. As well as a properly processed digital version. And make sure you are using an effective headshot. There’s no excuse for a bad headshot.
#2 – Training
You should always be studying. Don’t be stagnant. Keep exercising your Acting Muscle. Get in a class or get together with a group of friends and do scene work yourself. Just keep working on your craft.
#3 – Reel/Footage Of You Acting
There are so many advantages to having Footage on your casting sites. For starters, it lets people see you acting. And on Actors Access it puts you among the top submissions seen.
#4 – Website
A website is great because you are 100% in control of the content. It give you a place to direct people if they are interested in seeing extended footage and learning more in depth information about you. Keep it updated and showing the best you.
#5 – Complete Online Casting Profiles
A complete Online Casting Profile means having the following:
- Headshots
- Reels and/or Scenes
- Up to date Resume
- Up to date Sizes
- Up to date Information
- And on Actors Access you also need a Slateshot
