SPOTLIGHT: John Wynn

Without you guys, Argentum’s loyal friends and customers, we would not be here.  Therefore, we’d like to take the opportunity to shine the spotlight on a few of you who are making waves in the entertainment world. John Wynn is the kind of person who you might refer to as a ‘swiss army knife’ of talents.  He was one of the hosts of the internationally syndicated CD USA and has since appeared in numerous films and guest starring roles on television including CSI, Bones, and NCIS to name just a few.

In 2007 he co-founded Punching Bees Productions which now has a slate feature films in post production.  As if acting and producing were not enough, John is also an award winning director.  His short “Pillow Talk” has taken home prizes at festivals like Indiefest, AOF International Film Festival, Hollyshorts, and can be seen next at the New York International Film Festival.   The most recent Punching Bees’ film “Screwed” is in midst of securing distribution and marks John’s feature length directorial debut.  You can check out the trailer here.  We wish John all the luck in the world and look forward to seeing more from him in the coming years.

As actors you have one opportunity to make a first impression. It is a lot like online dating. If you send out a picture that is great but doesn't look like you, your date (casting) is gonna be disappointed. You won't get a second chance. But if you are able to capture your personality and the strongest aspects of your talents in that one frame, you'll find that there are a lot of people out there looking for someone just like you. SO, this blog is dedicated to getting you more dates, or rather auditions. We leave your actual dating life up to you. With over 30 years of experience in the photography and headshot business, I will keep you posted on the business of acting with an emphasis on photos.

  1. I had the privilege of working background on Mr. Wynn’s upcoming release “Beyond the Mat”. He displayed tremendous focus and command of all aspects of the shoot. Congratulations on your progress and success! Robert Stilwell
