It is not often that you hear the word “science” referenced when discussing art or the creative process. Amongst many acting teachers, such a word evokes a negative feeling and is the opposite of how they go about teaching their students. This is not the case with Anthony Meindl. His method of coaching actors is tied directly to how the brain operates and reacts to situations. He sat down with me to discuss his methods and his new book, “At Left Brain, Turn Right.”
